Roads Less Traveled Italy was born out of a desire to share the unparalleled splendors of All of the Regions of Italy with travelers interested in slow, authentic, Sustainable Travel.
While the world-renowned Italian cities have a great deal to offer, many of the most memorable experiences in Italy are to be found in the smaller towns and villages.
Maybe you want to start out in Rome…or Florence, or Venice, but then rent a car or hop a train and explore the heart of the surrounding area. Or, head to one of the lesser touristed regions such as Le Marche or Abruzzo for a relaxed adventure filled with the perfect mix of cultural treasures and natural wonders.
